Far Northern Regional Center is a fixed point of referral for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. It also provides Early Start services to infants and toddlers and coordinates community resources such as education, recreation, health, rehabilitation, and welfare for individuals with disabilities.

Sunshine Kids Club is a fully inclusive program for children with and without disabilities. It is designed to foster self esteem, empower kids and promote advocacy and acceptance for all children. This is done through dance, theater arts, outdoor activities and field trips, movie night, mini golf swim parties, self defense, wheelchair sports and much more.

The Arc of Butte County is committed to securing the opportunity of all people with developmental disabilities to choose and realize their goals of where and how to learn, live, work and play. They provide respite services, adult day care programs, socialization assistance, recreation therapy, and family support services. They are also the home of the Rainbow of Kids Club, which takes children with disabilities on field trips to improve social skills.
